NEW DELHI: India's megastar Amitabh Bachchan has revealed to his fans that he is suffering from liver cirrhosis that was caused by a blood transfusion he underwent in the 80s.
He was badly injured while filming the Hindi movie, "Coolie", and needed blood transfusion to save his life.
The actor was given blood from an unknown donor infected with the Australian antigen Hepatitis.
He said that since the discovery of his medical problem he had been under constant medical care.
